Terms & Conditions



1.Agreed Price, Deposits, Cancellations and Balances:
a. Agreed Price:
The Agreed Price is the amount agreed between goldlimo and you the Customer, based on and limited to the Instructions set out in the Requirements area overleaf. Any changes subsequent to this booking that you may wish to make will be subject to our ability to accommodate those changes and may be subject to further costs.

b. Deposits:
All bookings require a £100 deposit.

c. Cancellations:
Should you cancel within 14 days (Fourteen) days of the date the vehicle(s) is/are required, the deposit will be deemed non-refundable. In the event the booking is cancelled within 96 hours (four days) of the date the vehicle(s) is/are required, you the Customer will be charged 100% of the Balance owed. Where a booking is made for a wedding or other special event payment due date will be extended to 28 (twenty eight) days.

d. Balance:
Under normal circumstances Balances due are payable at time and place of the first pick-up. Alternatively, you may pay the balance in advance at
goldlimo company offices in cash or by cheque or by mailing a cheque for the balance due, allowing enough time (minimum of 7 (seven) days) for the cheque to be cleared, thus ensuring funds are deposited to our account prior to the commencement of the services to be provided. Personal or business cheques or drafts or foreign currency are not acceptable as final payment on the day of the requirement unless prior consent by a manager from goldlimo has been given. Balances settled in advance using a credit card/charge card or other electronic transfer would be subject to a surcharge of 5% (five percent) for each transaction amount.

2. Grace Period:
goldlimo strives always to be at all pickup points in advance of the times agreed. However, there may be causes that, from time to time, prevent us from meeting these aims, e.g. inclement weather, traffic, accidents, road resurfacing and similar events outside our control. Reasonably therefore we need to build into our schedule(s) a period of up to 30 (thirty) minutes grace. In the event a grace period is invoked, in whole or in part, the time will be made up during or after the hire, schedules permitting.

3a. Damages:
The costs of repair of damage to the limousine(s) hired by you the Customer, however caused will be your responsibility. Additionally, in the event that one of the party is physically ill in the limousine we will charge £100 to make good the vehicle.

If the booking was secured using a credit/charge-card you, the Customer, agree that we may deduct from that card damage costs arising. In the event that a credit/charge-card was not used to secure the booking, we will invoice you directly for repair costs.

3b. Under Age Drinking: Please be advised that it is NOT the responsibility of goldlimo or the respective chauffeur to prevent under age drinking. It is the full responsibility of the person(s) aged 18+ who have secured the booking.

4. Overtime:
Overtime charges begin immediately following the end of pre-agreed
goldlimo Final Drop Off Time as set out in the box overleaf. Under this agreement the overtime rate is £50 per hour, with the exception of Children’s Parties where no overtime will be charged.

5. Lost Property:
goldlimo takes every care to keep you, the Customer and your property safe. We cannot, however, under any circumstances take responsibility for property lost or left or assumed left in the vehicle(s). Make sure that you check and remove all personal property from the limousine(s) whenever you are dropped off, including interim drops. In the event any property is found by us and is returned to the depot it is you, the Customer’s responsibility to recover said property from our depot and any costs of doing so are yours and yours alone.

6. Breakdown:
goldlimo makes every effort to maintain its fleet as often as thoroughly as it possibly can. goldlimo has therefore made all reasonable efforts to ensure that the limousine(s) is/are in the best and most reliable condition and are thereby fit for the purpose of use. In such event should a mechanical breakdown occur outside its control goldlimo cannot accept responsibility for the impact that those unforeseen event(s) might have.

7. Airport Requirements:
Where
goldlimo are retained to collect the Customer from arriving flight(s), in particularly inbound international flight(s), the- customer is required to telephone goldlimo +44(0) 1268 –754 – 985 before leaving the departure lounge to reconfirm the pick-up requirements and to obtain from goldlimo the relevant chauffeurs mobile phone number so he/she may make his/her way from the holding parking facilities on the airport periphery. goldlimo will not be held liable for any delays or inconveniences however caused if these arrangements are not complied with.

8. Vehicle Requested:
goldlimo will provide the Vehicle Requested. However, not withstanding clause 6 above, in the event due to circumstances beyond our control the Vehicle Requested cannot be provided either for the first, the final or other and interim journeys booked we reserve the right to provide substitute vehicle(s) of equal or similar standing and capacity.
